ICAM Introduces Tech Tip Tuesday!

Montreal, August 1, 2013 – ICAM Technologies Corporation is pleased to announce that it will be launching Tech Tip Tuesday on August 20, 2013.

As the name implies, every Tuesday ICAM will post a technical tip related to its product suite and valuable NC post-processing and machine simulation best-practices on ICAM’s Web site, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

Follow ICAM at the links below to receive these weekly tech tips!

From how to integrate ICAM's technology inside various CAD/CAM systems to how to configure a post-processor for 6-axis continuous motions or hole drilling, NC programmers will have access to these valuable tips and gain insight on the following learning components.

  • Integrate and launch ICAM’s post-processing & machine simulation technology inside various CAM systems
  • Implement industry proven best-practices to generate optimized toolpaths
  • Fine-tune NC programs to ensure perfect and collision-free G-code
  • Deploy ICAM’s unique post-processing optimization features for precision parts and reduced manufacturing cycle-time
  • Leverage ICAM’s technology to accurately support complex multi-axis CNC machine programs

ICAM leads the NC manufacturing market with its unique Integrated PSE software. Inside a single software platform, Integrated PSE provides a single environment for Post-processing, Simulation and Emulation (for G-Code) that interfaces with the most popular CAD/CAM/PLM systems, CNC controllers and machine tools on the market.

Integrated PSE also provides the means to compute in-process stock geometry to identify, list and display surface gouges, excess material, inaccessible areas and rapid-motion collisions at any time during the post-processing and verification phase.
