Oxford, England. March 28, 2012
To complete the launch of the 2012 PLM Governance Benchmark, the PLMIG announces that Bendix will host a PLM Benchmark Coaching Workshop on 23-24 April at its headquarters in Elyria, Ohio.
The 2-day Workshop format matches the launch by Knorr-Bremse in Munich this week and the second event to be hosted by Thales in Paris on 16-17 April. The Bendix Workshop will give American and Canadian companies the chance to take part without flying the Atlantic.
The PLM Governance Benchmark is the first ever opportunity for major international companies to conduct a comprehensive benchmark of their PLM environments. The documentation and management will be handled by the PLM Interest Group, and the results will give an unparalleled understanding of PLM strengths, weaknesses and best practice techniques.
The Coaching Workshops will give a complete insight into the Governance Benchmark, but they are highly valuable events in their own right. Workshop participants will receive all of the tools and working material, and be trained in how they are applied. Companies based anywhere in the world are welcome to take part, and can choose their preferred event to suit their favoured timing or location.
The PLM Interest Group
The PLM Interest Group is the leading neutral industry group for PLM. It is developing a new generation of applied PLM standards including the PLM Best Practice Library and the Path to PLM, and has previously run workshops that have produced the PLM Benchmarking Handbook; the PLM-SCM Guidebook; and the PLM Maturity Reference Manual.
