WALLDORF, Germany, March 21, 2012 — (PRNewswire) —   SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the availability of SAP® ActiveEmbedded services as a new support engagement. SAP today also launched SAP® Rapid Prototyping services, a new premium engagement service.

SAP ActiveEmbedded was created to enable customers to implement and operate better, and be prepared for accelerated adoption of game-changing technologies and other innovations from SAP. The offering provides a unique combination of an embedded support team at the customer site for specific projects and engineering services supported by expertise in tackling customer challenges

SAP ActiveEmbedded is intended to remove barriers to innovation. The services place an emphasis on accelerating knowledge and skills transfer by helping customers to maximize their existing investments and make them manageable, supportable, scalable and optimized. The offering also aims at high levels of data consistency and operational efficiency.

SAP Rapid Prototyping gives customers the unique opportunity to test drive and experience the value of new innovations from SAP, such as the SAP HANA® platform and mobile apps, With the service, customer should be enabled to do so in an easy and accelerated way prior to making a full investment. SAP Rapid Prototyping is available through the premium engagements SAP ActiveEmbedded or SAP® MaxAttention™ support.
