Edgecam and Radan to Show CAM Integration at SolidWorks World 2012
Seamless integration between SolidWorks and the Radan and Edgecam CAM systems, will feature at SolidWorks World 2012. Edgecam and Radan will be demonstrating their latest CAD/CAM release 2012 R1 at the exhibition, being held from February 12-15, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, USA. The 14th annual SolidWorks World Conference brings together designers, engineers, managers, and partners to discuss ideas, trends, and the technology shaping the future of product design. Along with highlights of the latest release, visitors to booth #335 will see how both CAM systems provide a seamless integration with SolidWorks 3D mechanical design software. This new automation process will maximize efficiency, flexibility and productivity. Edgecam and Radan both work with SolidWorks as part of an integrated Design-to-Manufacture solution for metal components. This associativity allows users to open native SolidWorks files directly into Edgecam and Radan, eliminating the translation process, improving accuracy with offline programming of CNC machine tools, and allowing the user greater flexibility when design changes are introduced.
