Partnership will promote Advanced Engineering Design and Information Management Technology in China
Beijing, China – 21 December 2011: AVEVA (LSE:AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries, announces that it has signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Beijing with the China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association (CPCESDA). AVEVA and CPCESDA have allied together to provide engineering design and information management technology and training for EPCs in the China petrochemical industry. Members of the CPCESDA include China’s petroleum giants CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC.

Established in 1985, China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association (originally China Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association) is a nation-wide social organization formed by national organizations in such engineering service fields as consultancy, survey, design, project management, EPC project contracting, etc. of the petroleum and chemical industries, and others directly related to these two primary industries. All of the association members are corporations.
