Read the Results of This Year’s Collaboration & Interoperability Survey and Participate in the New Survey

Studies have shown that one of the fundamental keys to efficiency, productivity and high quality products is getting people to work together more effectively - collaboration. Yet, it remains challenging to identify and select the best investments to make in this mission-critical area. Furthermore, people cannot collaborate if they can’t share product data.  Poor interoperability of product data may be the largest source of waste in any manufacturing enterprise, and is implicitly tied to successful collaboration.

For the past 7 years Longview Advisors has executed a comprehensive collaboration and interoperability market survey targeted at the engineering, IT and manufacturing professionals in the discrete manufacturing industry.  Results from this survey, along with discussion and analysis, is published annually in Longview’s free Collaboration & Interoperability Market Report.  A long, consistent history of trend data from your colleagues and peers make our survey the most comprehensive and representative surveys available on collaboration and interoperability strategies, trends and best practices.

By taking our survey, you can help improve the state of collaboration and interoperability, while helping engineering, design and IT professionals better understand strategies and best practices from others in the industry. To this end, PLEASE take 7 minutes of your time to complete our annual Survey.

The Report also includes a collection of timely and relevant articles by thought leaders in collaboration and interoperability, discussing the latest strategies, best practices and solutions, and the latest technology trends and software tools, for collaboration and interoperability.  Some of each year’s articles are taken from the most popular presentations at the Collaboration & Interoperability Congress ( www.3dcic.com).

The results of this survey will help steer your industry, and make your needs heard.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution.

Please note: For every 20 completed surveys, we will draw one winner of a special gift. At the end of the survey, you may select which gift you would like to receive if you win. Answers must provide useful, appropriate information to win, e.g. random typed letters are not an answer.
