8:00 PDT/11:00 EDT/15:00 UTC/GMT

The aerospace industry continues to cultivate new approaches to aerostructures design.  The increasing use of composite materials combined with novel assembly techniques has uncovered challenges with solutions that are yielding strong competitive advantages for companies that implement them.  Please join us for an informative Webcast entitled: Part-Specific Design Strategies for Aerostructures, in which we will highlight approaches for solving challenges with engineering composites for aerospace applications.

This Webcast will address how exciting new capabilities make aerostructures development more controlled and robust, which ultimately leads to faster and more profitable delivery of high quality products.  James DeLaPorte, Partner and Business Transformation Leader at NexTec and a former executive at Gulfstream Aerospace, will discuss establishing robust processes for composite aerostructures development.  He will explain how robust processes for composites require complete and reusable definition and how complete definitions require part-type specific design methodologies.

Specifically, you will learn how:

  • Commercial off-the-shelf software can achieve a step change in easing product definition and improve collaboration within design teams and across the entire supply chain
  • Powerful part-type specific design approaches that capture the essential “DNA” of a composite part give design and manufacturing engineers significant advantages in speed and quality
  • Composite “DNA” addresses different composite part design challenges (such as those associated with frames, stringers, panels, fuselage, and advanced assemblies) and how it adds value to design, manufacturing, and the overall development program.

Overcome your toughest product development challenges and deliver products that meet specification on time and on budget.  Reserve your Webcast seat now.
