Normally an Aluminum Mold’s life expectancy can be several thousand to 1 million + parts if using an unfilled resin and simple part geometry. Difficult shut offs, undercuts developed by using mechanical slides, lifters or handloads does affect wear and tear on an Aluminum Mold.
