Simplifying the manufacturing process by supporting Model Based Definition

As modern 3D CAD applications allow for the creation of 3D dimensions and annotations (PMI/FTA/GD&T) along with multiple model views and layouts and other product information within the 3D CAD data set for both components and assemblies, the risk of error is greatly reduced.
