3D CIC is the only vendor-neutral event addressing collaboration and interoperability in manufacturing and business communications. We pride ourselves on finding presenters who are real users discussing real problems and solutions for Model-Based Definition (MBD) and Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) applications.
3D CIC has become a yearly barometer of the state of collaboration and interoperability strategy, technology, and solutions across all sectors of discrete manufacturing. This year’s 3D CIC event is focused on extending the benefits from the aerospace and defense industries into the commercial sector with the theme: Commercial Applications of Model-Based Business Process.
3D CIC is highly pertinent to mechanical and systems engineers, program managers, and visionary leaders in the aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, industrial equipment, and other product development industries.
New this year, PTC and SolidWorks user events are being held alongside 3D CIC.

The Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium will bring together aerospace industry R&D engineers and heads of design and engineering to discuss, debate and analyse future possibilities for the hybridisation of aircraft and even the possibility of pure electric-only commercial flight.
The two-day event will cover all aspects of aerospace activity, from commercial aviation to military applications, its purpose being to highlight the ever-growing amount of research into the increased electrification of aircraft and the possibilities and challenges that brings.
Autodesk University (AU) is many things. First, it was an event. Then it became many events. Now it’s also an online destination for learning.
AU began in 1993 as an Autodesk software user conference in San Francisco. It was a chance for designers, architects, and engineers to come together and learn from the best in their industries, share practical tips for getting the most from the software, compare notes, and rub elbows with their peers.
