Buffalo Grove, IL, August 10, 2005 - Computer Aided Technology, Inc., (CATI) has announced that once again they are a Gold Level Sponsor for the Annual Regional SolidWorks User Group Conference October 13-14, 2005 in Racine, Wisconsin. This event is organized by the combined efforts of local SolidWorks User Groups for SolidWorks users and those interested in learning more about the technology in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

In addition to the Keynote Speaker, SolidWorks Number 1 CSWP and CEO, John McEleney, the conference will feature Round Table Discussions, PDM and FEA presentations and more, along with access to SolidWorks Solutions Partners and Vendor Sponsors. There will also be a pre-meeting reception on the evening of Wednesday, October 12 and vendor sponsored reception on the evening of Thursday, October 13. Over 400 attendees are expected at this year’s meeting, including users, resellers, partners, vendors and SolidWorks.

“Computer Aided Technology is a long-time supporter of local User Groups,” comments Mark Peters, Board Member, SolidWorks User Group Network. “This year’s User Group promises to be one of the largest and most comprehensive events of its kind. Thanks to the assistance of organizations like CATI, one of only two Gold Level sponsors, we can keep the momentum of local User Groups going and continue to offer opportunities that are truly unique to the SolidWorks Users in the region.”

"We are excited to sponsor this User Group. It is one of CATI’s goals to support the local SolidWorks User Groups so that there is an opportunity for the community to share knowledge and experiences in an arena directed by the users themselves, as opposed to simply being marketing events,” comments Richard Werneth, President, CATI. “This promises to be an amazing event and we look forward to working with the local user groups to make it happen.”
