Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company to Expand Formtek Implementations in Support of Company-Wide Standard Engineering Data Management and Engineering Change Management Initiatives
WASHINGTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Nov. 10, 2003— Formtek, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software and implementation services, announced today that Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company has signed an agreement to expand the deployment of the Formtek | Orion product suite.The agreement expands company-wide the use of the Formtek | Orion content management software to support a standard for management of and access to engineering information, and expands the use of the Formtek | Orion Workflow in support of a standard for engineering change management.
Prior to this agreement, Formtek's implementations within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics supported enterprise users across multiple programs, partners, suppliers and customers. These implementations have supported applications encompassing technical information management, proposal management, factory floor access, delivery of contractually required data, and engineering change request processing. This expanded agreement provides for expansion of the existing Formtek implementations within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, as well as deployment of Formtek licenses and solutions to additional aircraft programs.
