CIMINV-Ug is a direct translator from Unigraphics to Inventor that runs within Inventor. CIMINV-Ug converts Unigraphics parts and assemblies to corresponding Inventor parts and assemblies, preserving the assembly tree. CIMINV-Ug does not require a license of Unigraphics and is supported on all Inventor platforms.

CIMINV-Ug is a plug-in that is integrated in Inventor Version 6, and its user interface has the same look and feel as that of other translator plug-ins that are available in Inventor. It supports both UG part and assembly files from versions 13.0 to Nx. Options are available to filter entities for translation based on entity type such as Sheet Body or Solid, and whether the entity is blanked or visible.

CADCAM-E also offers a wide range of seamless conversion solutions between CATIA, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and Mastercam systems. Parasolid, IGES and STEP standards-based translators are also available.
