SAP SI Names Klaus Schottenhamel President and CEO of U.S. Operations

ATLANTA, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP Systems Integration America, LLC (SAP SI America) today announced the appointment of Klaus Schottenhamel to the position of president and CEO. Schottenhamel will play a key role in managing Web-based integration activities and overseeing the company's sales, marketing, and customer operations in the United States. SAP SI America is a subsidiary of German-based SAP Systems Integration AG, with extensive industry knowledge and a specific focus in the United States on industries like manufacturing, beverage, higher education, and print media industries. Specializing in systems integration, SAP SI America optimizes heterogeneous system environments, even across company boundaries.

Schottenhamel brings more than twenty years of strategic, consulting, and technical expertise in implementing SAP(R) solutions, including his most recent position at Inforte, where he oversaw the development and delivery of the company's SAP solution offerings. Schottenhamel also served as a member of the executive board of Plaut AG, a large SAP integration partner. As a member of the executive board, Schottenhamel was responsible for the launch of several Plaut international business units, including Plaut South Africa, Plaut UK, and Plaut Consulting Inc. USA. At Plaut Consulting Inc. USA, Schottenhamel built the company's U.S. presence from the ground up and was responsible for significant increases in the company's roster of customers and solution offerings. Schottenhamel also served as a member of the SAP National Partner Advisory Council and in executive management positions with technology companies that include Living Systems, Inc., a business-to-business Internet trading platform company, and ConnectUS, LLC.
