BIRMINGHAM, AL – July 1, 2009 – Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GISi) is pleased to announce William (Sonny) Beech is joining the company as National Sales Manager. Mr. Beech has an outstanding track record of working with clients and partners to sell and deliver GIS solutions to both the public and private sectors. At GISi, Mr. Beech will be a member of the company’s leadership team, and be responsible for collaborating on overall corporate strategy as well as coordinating all business development activities in the company’s current and target vertical markets.
Mr. Beech has a career record of accomplishment in strategic account management and sales. Prior to joining GISi, he worked for Environment Research Systems Institute, Inc. (ESRI) as an Executive Account Manager. Most recently, he focused on business development and account management of large public sector clients in the state of Georgia. Mr. Beech also has an extensive track record of working with private sector business to deploy GIS solutions. This is a return engagement for Mr. Beech, as he worked for GISi prior to his time with ESRI. Mr. Beech earned his BS in Geography, Cartography, and Remote Sensing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
