Autodesk Issues Challenge to All 3D Designers, Create Virtual Office with AutoCAD 2010


Opportunity to Be Part of TecknoChronicles of Z Series and Win Prizes Including the Option to Cameo in Online Video Series

Who: Autodesk Inc., today launched “General Shadowfinger’s Benign Design Contest in 3D,” a design competition to support the online video series, The TeknoChronicles of Z.

What: The arch enemy in The TeknoChronicles of Z, General Shadowfinger, needs a new place to conduct business. Designers are asked to create an office and all of its contents for the General using the new free-form design tools in AutoCAD 2010 in which the selected winner will have their design appear prominently in a future episode, receive a trip for two to San Francisco, a Canon digital camera, and a 3D printed model of the winning design featured in the Autodesk Gallery. The grand-prize winner will also get the option of starring in the final TeknoChronicles of Z episode.

When: All entries must be received by midnight on June 30, 2009. The winners will be determined by member voting on the AutoCAD Exchange. Voting will be open from July 1 through July 15, 2009 and will be announced on July 28, 2009. The contest is open to residents of the US.
