On the Way to K-Show 2007?

You get the chance to discover the latest true 3D analysis solutions for the design and production of injection molded parts.

Moldex3D is the leading "True 3D" plastics mold design and analysis software. Its new coming release R9.0 will be the newly achievement of simulation technologies, offering new functions and capabilities that enables users to complete evaluate and solve potential design problems more efficiently. This new release includes many new features and customer-driven enhancements, such as viscoelastic residual stress prediction, optical properties prediction, transient cooling analysis, RHCM module, interface to LS-Dyna, etc.

A new Rapid Heat Cycle Molding (RHCM) module, as an example, models cycling the mold temperature from hot to cold over the course of a molding cycle. Unlike the traditional approach of maintaining constant mold temperature, RHCM simulates the results of deliberately using higher mold temperature during filling and packing and then dropping the temperature for the remainder of cycle. More newly-added functions and expanded capability of Moldex3D R9.0 will be unveiled at Molodex3D Users' Meeting – Europe 2007.
