BUNKSPEED RELEASES HYPERSHOT

“World’s first interactive photograph” 3D rendering software wows press and early adopters

LosAngeles, California, September 25, 2007 Bunkspeed announced today the release of HyperShot, a groundbreaking 3D rendering application that is already winning accolades in the 3D design industry and photography world.

The software dramatically slashes studio set up costs for print and web ads by producing lifelike 3Dprototypes in just minutes. With practically no learning curve to speak of,experts or novices can load a 3D model into HyperShot, add materials, and then apply realistic lighting via High Dynamic Range Images (HDRIs).

And the image is finished. This “interactive photograph” can be manipulated in any direction, while HyperShot’s interactive 3D ray tracing automatically updates the lighting in real time.

Scientifically accurate diamonds - scene set up in minutes and rendered to perfect realism without expertise

In an MCADmagazine review of HyperShot, editor Al Dean notes that such a revolutionary reduction in time and complexity makes photo image creation “ultra efficient” and significantly speeds up the design review process – creating the potential to get products to market faster than the competition.

Photographers and product designers have embraced HyperShot’s extraordinary ease of use, speed, and photographic realism. David Burgess, noted automotive photographer, predicts HyperShot will “change the face of photography forever,” while JurgenWurth, Senior Industrial Designer for Swift Engieering, Inc. enthuses, “I’mable to blur the boundary between concept and realism – simply astonishing!”

HyperShot also works directly with designs created in SolidWorks, and interfaces with 3D design applications through common neutral file formats. And no other rendering application scales to today’s increasingly high powered multi-core platforms as well as HyperShot.

Starting atjust $195, HyperShot’s unconventional pricing model is based solely on pixel resolution instead of added functionality. Users who need just basic web image resolution get the same amount of functionality as users who require maximum resolution for large print files. This eliminates the need to re-learn HyperShot when upgrading and allows files to pass between different versions.

To complement the HyperShot offerings, Bunkspeed also offers its own set of HDRIsfor sale, with matching back plates. All HDRIs have been optimized for use inside HyperShot.

Philip Lunn, Bunkspeed CEO,concludes, “We’re thrilled with the praise HyperShot has already garnered. Thisis clearly going to be an indispensable product design tool for anyone who wants to render spectacular designs within minutes of installing the software.”

HyperShot is available for Windows XP and Vista, supporting both 32- and 64-bit editions of the operating system. To learn more about HyperShot and to download a trial version at no charge, visit www.bunkspeed.com/hypershot.
