New Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities are among the principal additions to Alphacim V7, the latest version of Alphacam’s integrated business management system for order-based manufacturing operations in the joinery industry.

The software’s new CRM module provides comprehensive lead qualification, customer contact and scheduled actions functionality to complement Alphacim’s proven abilities to automate sales order processing and manufacturing operations. It also provides a diary with automatic prompting of follow up actions to enable simple and effective management of external marketing activities from initial contact through to final order. In addition, Alphacim’s CRM module integrates closely with industry-standard Microsoft applications as well as other Alphacam modules, including Alphastair, Alphadoor and Alphawindoor.

It is available from the end of May to maintained customers of Alphacim’s full system, but will not be offered as standard with the company’s entry-level Alphacim Lite application.

Further enhancements in Alphacim V7 include improvements to the automated generation of commercial documentation - such as quotations and delivery notes - and streamlined production of families of parts including fascia doors, fabricated doors and window units.
