Company Cites Tight CAD-Integration and UGS Dependability as Key Selection Factors; Teamcenter to Provide Enhanced New Product Development Capability to More Than 300 Engineers
Following an extensive evaluation of competing vendors, Sandvik Mining and Construction selected UGS' PLM software, consulting and implementation services to deliver an integrated enterprise repository to more than 300 engineers to provide predictable output through repeatable controlled processes and to facilitate new product development.

* Maximize the amount of documentation that can be generated
automatically -- several pounds of documentation are required and the
manual work currently takes weeks.
* Develop more standardized products, enabling greater efficiency.
