Web-based system allows customers to control their inventory and monitor logistics

e-Fill is a comprehensive inventory management tool that provides an expansive view and access to a customer's manufacturing pipeline. Each distributor and OEM has a specific username and password, giving them secure access to their inventory and allowing them complete control over their merchandise.

Beyond customary storage and shipping charges, e-Fill is a free service tool that provides real-time order entry and order management. These services allow seamless shipments directly to end-users, distributors and service technicians via a "24/7" shipment system. Order status is instantly available through serial number tracking, and confirmation emails are automatically sent to customers' directed addresses. Both are standard features.
e-Fill also allows Delphi Medical Systems to act as a domestic and international logistics coordinator for OEMs and distributors. The tools help to ensure that orders will ship on time to the appropriate location, even the same day the order is placed, or through customer-directed carriers.
Furthermore, e-Fill eliminates the need for a third-party storage facility, since this system has been designed with spare-parts support in mind. It also eliminates transportation costs and handling of materials. e- Fill can also be customized to automatically re-order products.
The system combines Delphi customers' manufacturing, storage, inventory management and logistics needs, and tracks orders versus material availability. Complete physical inventories are available upon request. Users can obtain reports which are sorted by part, product and customer, as well as stock levels, open orders, pending shipments, and processed orders.
