IDV Solutions Honored with Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Emerging Economy Award

November 20, 2013 --  IDV Solutions will be honored with the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Emerging Economy Award at its Celebration of Regional Growth Awards. The award will be accepted by IDV Solutions CEO, Mark Morrison, on November 21. The Emerging Economy Award recognizes technology firms, like IDV Solutions, that contribute to growth and investment in the Lansing region.

“IDV Solutions has emerged as a market leader in data visualization technology,” said Tim Daman, President and CEO, Lansing Regional Chamber. “The company makes an impact worldwide and right here in Mid-Michigan. Their technology is in use every day, helping organizations gain insight from data, streamline operations, and protect people, assets, and infrastructure.”

“In the last 18 months, the company has added more than 20 employees, expanded its internship program, and opened offices in Orlando and Washington, D.C.,” said Ian Clemens, Chief Technology Officer. “Growth has accelerated in 2013, and IDV Solutions now has more than ten career opportunities in Lansing and Orlando in sales, marketing, software development, quality assurance, and information technology.”

Travis Conti has rejoined IDV Solutions as a development manager. Travis is a 2006 graduate of Davenport University. Conti’s development focus is on Visual Command Center.

Steve Sands has joined IDV Solutions as a regional sales director for Visual Command Center. A security industry veteran, Sands manages Visual Command Center sales in the South Central territory from Houston, Texas.

Yusuke Hasegawa, software developer, is working on Visual Command Center customer deployments. Hasegawa is a 2008 computer science graduate of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI.

Matt Morgan, senior software developer, is a 2001 Michigan State University College of Engineering graduate. Morgan’s focus is Visual Command Center customer deployments.

Aaron Hebert, senior software developer, has started in IDV Solutions’ Orlando, Florida office. He is a Valencia Community College graduate in computer programming and systems analysis. Hebert will work on Visual Command Center customer deployments.

David Arrington has joined the firm in a new senior systems administrator position. Arrington will focus on the creation and maintenance of the company’s computing environments, both customer and internal facing. Arrington is a computer science graduate of Stevens Henager College in Utah.

Andrew Winkle has joined the company as a software developer. He is a 2008 graduate of Western Michigan University in computer information systems.

Scott Holt will join the Orlando office as a senior software developer. Holt is a 2008 software engineering graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University in Georgia. He will work on Visual Command Center customer deployments.

Larry Druien is a new regional sales director for Visual Command Center. Druien is a University of Kentucky graduate and a security industry veteran. He manages the Southeast territory from his base in Atlanta, Georgia.

IDV Solutions also announced that Kevin Steeprow has been promoted from Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) to the newly created position of Director of Technical Solutions. Steeprow will oversee the growing TSE team and help define customer project requirements.
