Pixxures Canada Changes Name To "Valtus Imagery Services"

Calgary, Alberta, February 23, 2004 – Calgary-based Pixxures Canada, Inc. announced today that it has changed its corporate name to Valtus Imagery Services Ltd. effective immediately. Valtus is the largest private digital imagery distributor in Canada, providing on-line imagery services to thousands of customers in North America.

“Valtus was selected as the name for the new corporation from the Latin roots volatus and altus, symbolizing a view from above”, says Larry Herd, Vice President of Valtus. “This new name properly reflects the strength and depth of our new data acquisition and distribution capabilities for the benefit of our industrial and government clients in Western Canada. Over the next several weeks, we will be announcing a number of new data partners and distribution channels for our data and services that will better serve our customer base.”
